This year we celebrated Christmas at our home. Both sets of parents were out of town. It was hard not being with extended family but it we definitely had fun watching Avery get so excited about all the things that come with the Christmas season. She was absolutely obsessed with the Christmas tree, Santa, singing jingle bells, a Christmas episode of Barney, and Christmas lights. We found ourselves on several nights driving around to look at all the lights. The first thing she had to do every morning when so woke up was turn on the lights on the tree. It definitely has been fun watching her get so excited. Santa brought her a kitchen and a shopping cart which she loves. It surprisingly took us a while to open up all the presents because she had to either play with or try on everything after each present was opened. It was a wonderful day.

Glad you guys had a good Christmas. I love the picture of you sleeping on the floor and Avery sitting on you. It's classic.
