A few weeks ago we were able to take a much needed family vacation to Disneyland. I was a little nervous about our drive to California with Avery but she surprised us and did really well thanks to portable DVD players and a Barney DVD that we watched for 4 hours straight. We had a lot of fun watching Avery get excited. She absolutely loved all the characters which was surprising because at Christmas she talked about Santa all the time but wouldn't go near him. It was a lot of fun and we are so grateful that we were able to go.

We went when Caylee was 14 months, and she didn't really get it yet. It must be so fun to take a little one when they get excited about the whole thing!
This makes me want to go to Disneyland now! I am glad that Avery did so well in the car.
